How We Are Funded
We have received no outside investment, grants or donations. Our only revenue is the advertising shown on this website.
Advertising
Ads on GovFacts are placed by Raptive (CMI Marketing, Inc.), a company that sells advertising space on independent websites. Raptive’s systems choose which ads appear, often based on the reader and the page. We do not choose individual ads.
- Ads appear in their own spaces, separate from the text of an article.
- Advertisers do not see articles before they are published and have no say in what we cover or what we write.
- An ad next to an article is not an endorsement by GovFacts, and our articles are not endorsements of any advertiser.
- We do not publish sponsored articles, paid placements or affiliate links.
If you see an ad that seems inappropriate, tell us at help@govfacts.org.
